As an added bonus, this year’s card doubles as a desk top calendar.

For a minimum donation of P150 per card, you share your commitment to early detection and subsidize the medical treatment of cancer patients.

SpongeBob supports ICanServe

Nickelodeon partners with ICanServe Foundation to bring SpongBob Pink Pants to the Philippines.

SpongeBob supports breast cancer awareness month and ICanServe’s advocacy for early breast cancer detection with an exciting limited edition product line that includes graphic shirts, pillows, tote bags, baller bands and bandannas, only available only until October 31 in all SM Department Stores.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual international health campaign symbolized by the pink ribbon. ICanServe, in particular, teaches women to conduct monthly breast-self examination (BSE) from the age of 20. Beginning age 30, in addition to monthly BSE, every woman must have her breasts checked every year by a health worker or medical professional. At age 40, women must obtain a baseline mammogram in addition to monthly BSE and annual clinical examination.

Bates Licensing & Entertainment, Inc. (BLE), official licensee of Nickelodeon in the Philippines, will donate P250,000 to ICanServe Foundation for the benefit of its network of breast cancer survivors, helped through high-impact information campaigns and community-based screening programs in partnership with local governments.

Early breast cancer detection can save lives. ICanServe communicates correct information on breast cancer and provides hope and help to women and men diagnosed with breast cancer. Each purchase of a limited edition SpongeBob Pink Pants product helps save a life.

Shown in photo above is SpongeBob and ICanServe members holding the mock check for BLE's donation.
